TouchDesigner + GLSL
The brief was to create something for guests to engage with on the night, and in keeping with the brand that the studio had already created. The theme was around celebrating the rich design community of New Zealand, while also looking towards the future and the possibilities it holds for our craft.
Using TouchDesigner and GLSL, I created a software experience that imitated the distorted lens element that WorkGroup had used throughout their branding and used a webcam as an input device.
The software was then displayed on a large 4k screen with a custom acrylic cutout that people could interact with.
